One of the most useful ways to incorporate vinegar into your laundry routine is to eliminate bad odors from clothes, towels, and linens. Vinegar contains natural antibacterial properties, which make it a great choice for tackling smells caused by bacteria, sweat, or mildew.

To use vinegar as an odor remover, start by diluting it with warm water. For regular laundry, you can simply add a cup of white vinegar to the washing machine’s fabric softener dispenser. The vinegar helps break down residues that trap odors in fabrics, leaving your clothes smelling fresher. For an added touch, consider adding a few drops of essential oils like lavender or lemon to the mixture.
