Those who doubt this need only look at a heartwarming photo that went viral in 2016, illustrating a father’s love and care for his child.

You may have seen the image in question before, but even if you have, I can practically promise you that you will be moved by sentimental feelings again.

The vast majority of parents are willing to do anything to ensure the happiness and comfort of their baby.

The thought of them being in distress is unbearable, which is why it is so difficult to watch them face illness and accidents. With the greatest will in the world, sometimes as a mother or father, all you can do is be there for them and hope and pray that they pull through.

That’s why we can sympathize with Andre Palmer, a father from York, Pennsylvania, who was photographed by his wife in 2016. According to reports, Andre had finished a full night shift before heading straight to the hospital where his young son, just 20 months old at the time, was being treated.

Andrew’s wife, Amy, explained that her son’s room at York Children’s Hospital was equipped with a crib and a lounge chair. Amy had fallen asleep in the chair when her husband came home from work.
