Over time, it is normal for the items in your trousseau to tend to yellow . Often, washing them normally is not enough to restore their original appearance, risking, among other things, ruining them forever.
Fabrics turn yellow due to their natural chemical degradation. When they begin to decompose, they take on a yellowish color that can be prevented and eliminated by adopting the right care.
Many times, the very white trousseau is stored and untouched for years, which can initiate chemical degradation and subsequent yellowing.
To whiten clothes , we usually use bleach. However, this product can seriously damage the fibers of the fabric and, if not used correctly, can cause yellow stains itself.
Below we suggest some tricks to whiten a yellowed set and bring it back to its original splendor.
