Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork (you can also use all beef if preferred)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Nutty butter spreads
For serving:
Cooked egg noodles
Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
