Did you know that eggs can be frozen? Place them in an ice cube tray to freeze them, then take them out whenever and as many times as you want!
Not everyone knows that it is possible to freeze eggs, but some types of raw and prepared eggs can be frozen by following these instructions. However, it is not possible to freeze eggs in their shell.
• Whole eggs – beat until smooth, then pour into freezer containers and seal tightly. Label with number of eggs and date before freezing.
• Egg whites – Separate eggs one at a time, making sure there are no yolks with the egg whites. Pour into freezer containers, seal and label. If you want the egg whites to thaw faster, pour them into an ice cube tray and freeze before transferring the egg cubes to a freezer container.
