Directions:

1. Prepare the Dough:

  • In a large bowl, combine 320 grams wheat flour, 160 grams corn starch, and a pinch of salt.
  • Add 220 grams melted butter, 2 tablespoons sour cream or yogurt, 1 egg yolk, and 2 tablespoons milk.
  • Mix well until a dough forms. Let the dough cool in the fridge for 10 minutes.

2. Prepare the Filling:

  • Chop 200 grams walnuts and mix them with 150 grams raisins.

3. Assemble the Pastries:

  • Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (356Β°F).
  • Take the dough out of the fridge and divide it into equal portions.
  • Roll each portion into a small circle, about 10 cm in diameter.
  • Place a small amount of the walnut and raisin mixture in the center of each circle.
  • Fold the dough over the filling to create a sealed pastry.

4. Bake:

  • Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

5. Prepare the Syrup:

  • Mix honey with warm water to create a syrup.

6. Finish and Serve:

  • Once the pastries are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Drizzle the honey syrup over the warm pastries.
  • Serve and enjoy!
